unwanted Email from board

I am getting an email every time a thread in which I participated is updated. Is there any way to stop this?

CW, Visit your userCp. It is above in the grey block.
Under settings and option go to edit options.
Under messaging and subscriptions go to Edit default subscription and scroll to do not subscribe. :)

In your control panel, you can also unsubscribe from any threads that you are already subscribed to. Those won't be affected by changing the setting T-Man mentioned, only new threads.

I'm having a similar issue.
But I'm still receiving notification emails after disabling email notification... :confused:

It may be something to do with being logged into multiple machines at once.?

I might just disable subscriptions for now... Although it is handy to help track my movements until I get more familiar with the board.

Again, you must be getting e mail from old subscriptions. VIew your list under the user cp and disable notification on each one.

Aah, makes sense I guess, I assumed the drop down box would cancel out all previous thingies.

Will go ahead and disable manually.
