I am not up on European trains. But from the pictures, I would judge them as C-6, very good condition if I were selling them.

This is a very nice set. Does it come in one complete box? Any product numbers?
From what I have seen Rheingold cars are sought after by Marklin hobbyists. Myself, knowing a little about Marklin, I would pay $150-200 for the 4 cars, at a minimum. I have always wanted a set.
An eBay auction for a recent set (ie manufactured in the last couple years, which was a 5 car set as it included the baggage car) went for around $275 if I remember correctly. This was mint condition in the box.
Regarding condition, they look to be in almost new condition, I can see there is dust and lint / hair in some places, which is fine. If there are any noticeable scratches or problems this should be noted as well.
