Hi,
I have recentley built a z scale layout. It has 2 main lines and are powered with marklin transformers. I have seen azl and saw that you needed the dcs. How does that work?

I think you are referring to DCC (Digital command control). You don't need DCC to run AZL locomotives. They new locos come DCC ready, but are analog out of the bog. Put them on the track and go!
