Trolley hook-up

I'm really new to this, I bought a ton of ho trains for my grandson on ebay, now I'm making a layout approx. 10x10. Anyway I want to have a trolley running just on a oneway type run, question is how do you hook something like this up. It won't run without completing the circut. Could someone tell me the best way to hook this up. I'm sure I'll be back with a hundred other questions as I complete this set. Thanks

I have several trolleys. should run on isolated straight track with a wire on each side to the PS. I have and use test tracks like this, one way.
