I ran across this by accident and thought I'd share it. It appears to be a directory of train museums, dinner trains, excursion trains and so on. I've been doing some research and am surprised how many there are!

Good find there Reck! Spent about two hours on the sites checking out defunct rail lines in UpState NY,my old haunts. Found numerous ideas and remuinisence of days gone by. Thanks:thumbsup:

Thanks---I saw that and could see a lot of spring-time travel begin to unfold. Speaking of that, how's your wife's new snowshovel working out?

Snow storm, shoveling and her students have done in my wife. She is a teachers aid in our elementary school and half her class was out with the flu a couple of days ago. Well, add it all up and she did not answer the bell for school this morning. There is only one last hope for a cure for those little kids, and that is to "Burn the entire Village"!;);) Oh,there are several off shoots of each Historical Societies Sites that are very interesting. The Ontario Western Railroad and NYC ran through my home town of Minetto and Oswego NY. I found a whole section of photos made me think of a new layout for a Industrial spur......here we go again! Thanks again Reck!

I'm glad you found some use for it, Mac. As for burning the village...*L*...at least you could stop shoveling snow for a while! Best wishes and take care of that lady of yours.

I love stumbling across stuff like that list. I know so little about trains, electronics, and computers, that it's nice to find something I can contribute to the group. It lets me give something back for all the help I've received from you guys.
