I have a norfolk southern SD40-2 that I am intalling ditch lights on and the Pilot is beat up. I would like to replace it but how?

How badly? Is it part of the main body shell? If so you may have to remove it completely and install a new one..

Any pics to help us out?

Yes, I was told I would not be able to rplace it, thanks. It looks like it needs anticlimbers though.
