I am building my first layout. It will have Legacy and DCS control only, no convencional engines. Can you point me in the direction of good info on how to wire the two together. Layout will be about 25' X 35'.

I have it working on small scale test layout in my living room. I am not sure how to handle the large layout in my basement.:)

Legacy is a brand new controll system made by lionel trying to compete with the dcs by MTH.

Why? Is it better than MTH's Protosound 2.0? Speaking of that, I wonder how soon 3.0 is going to be released :D

No, no, no, not the DCS software, the actual hardware they put into their trains...

Like they were equipped with Protosound, then Protosound 2.0... The version 4.0 DCS software is just a subset of 2.0, no?
