Going to the cemetery today to wish My Dad, both Grandfathers, My Great granddad, and my great-great granddad a good one. Clean up the grave sites a bit. Hopefully, the daughter and grandkids call, but I doubt they do. Too wrapped up in their personal lives, I guess.

I've got our four Boston Terrier "kids", they all love "Poppy". Wagging tails, well what tails they have, and "lickies" will suffice.

Goin' fishing today. Hopefully, I'll catch a few. Otie, one of the Bostons and the only male, is one heck of a fish finder!!!! He'll put me on fish.

Happy Father's Day to all of you that have kids and grandchildren. Remember, it takes a special person to be a Dad and Father. Take the job seriously.

Well, I'm off to start the day!!!!!!!

Happy Fathers Day to all! My son has to work tonight so we celebrated yesterday. He fixed steaks and polenta, we shared a bottle of wine, and then he took me to see Gallagher. For those who aren't familiar with him, he's a stage comedian who closes out his monologue with a wooden mallet and watermelons, plates of food, and so on. They hang plastic on the walls, cover the carpet with it, and sell garbage bags and shower caps to the audience! Came home to a few more beers (had a few during the show) and went to bed. In the morning, he fixed us breakfast and helped me clean up the house before going home to bed. Now, it's train-time!

Well, I'm back from the cemetery. Had a bit of weed whacking to do around the headstones. All cleaned up now. There was one lady that gave me an evil eye when I fired up the trimmer/edger. I gave her one right back. I also did a bit of edging around the foundations. Looks pretty nice now.

Well, time to get the tackle boxes, bait, and poles ready. Otie is still in bed asleep, but I know he'll get up when he hears me getting ready. Probably take The better half and the other dogs along too.

Going to bank fish today by a bridge over a creek that feeds into the reservoir. Crappie should be on the bite, maybe a couple of walleye. If the fish aren't biting, I'll head below the dam. Usually walleye there.

Ya'll have a good one.

Hey Bob -- Very good for you ... I'm sure Dad, Granddads, and the host of great-great granddads are all smiling down from above, happy that you said hello, cleaned up their resting spots a bit, and then went chasing after fish. You made 'em all proud, I bet!

Reck -- I'm glad you were able to enjoy these past couple of weeks spending some quality time with your son, while the GF has been visiting her family. Nothing beats solo father-son time. Enjoy every minute!

Well, all, little Otie put me on fish first thing. A good day. Limited out on both Crappie(25) and Walleye(6). Even caught a couple of sheephead, (4)white bass, and (3)channel cat for good measure. This dog is AWESOME!!

Well, time to clean fish.

That dog's got some sniffer, huh? A few extra table scraps for him tonight, I hope!
