Hello all,
I am sorry to post this but you are my only friends.
I got into a fight over some stupid shit and almost lost my left eye. I had to have plastic surgery and several stitches. I got hit in the eye with a cane and both of my eyelids were torn to shreds. :retard: is kinda how I look right now. I am on antibiotics, pain killers and have to put ointment on my eyeball. I also had to have the tear duct replaced with a tube and there is some sort of tube in my nose for some reason. I can't see to work on my train and that is about the only thing I want to do right now.
Pray I do not lose my eye.
Jeff

Alfalfa,
Can we get an update on how you're doing? I'm still trying to wrap my head about how you get into a fight with someone who has a cane. I hope you're on the way to recovery.

Hawaiian students of the martial art "lua" use a straight cane, a lua cane, as a defensive weapon. They have a well designed set of techniques for the use of the cane.

And trust me, it hurt. It was on a dare and I was young. It involved a cheap akatebourd and a very steeep hill.
Minor scars go away. This one I have had for more than 30 years. It does not hurt. It still aint pretty.

Ugg, I was working on my car yesterday when something fell in my eye... I must have blinked before I got it out and now I have a big scratch on my cornea... I have to do the same thing as what I qouted... Hopefully this will only last a couple days like the doctors said :(
It happened to my "good" eye too; I have astigmatism in my other eye and it is also sensitve to bright light...

Mmm... How are you doing recovering from your injuries? I do not feel any pain anymore, so I think I am good, although I still need to use the ointment until Friday :o
