I saw some good ones today. What do you like and do you remember when MTV first came out?

To tell you the truth, I can not remember ever watching MTV... Probably because I am stuck in the past with my tastes in music :D

Where? Certainly not on MTV, but what can I say since I have never watched anything on that channel... I know VH1 had a movie about the Monkeys once, that was pretty good... "Take the last train to Clarksville and I'll meet you at the station, no later than 4:30 because I've made your reservation..." :)

Jonny Cash is THE MAN! He is the only country singer that is even worth listening too... Well, maybe the guy who wrote "the devil went down to Geogia" :D

I tried searching for it on YouTube and only three results came up, none of them were actually of the Monkees though... But who needs them when you can play the song with penguin RPG characters!!!

Apparently the folks in Nine Inch Nails wrote it as a cover song. When they found out Cash did it they flipped at the honor and looked up the video. The lead singer said it was everything they could do to keep themselves from bawling like school girls, it moved them so.

I just updated my signature ;)
This is my second favorite Billy Joel song next to Scenes from an Italian Restaurant... It is a close call though, they are such different types of songs... When I watched the Big Shot video I noticed that he made most of the same faces / hand movements that I do when I sing the song, LOL...
