Guitar amps

Does anyone here know much about guitar amps? I am working on building one and need some help on equipment like speakers and heads.
Sofar I have the speaker cabinents being made out of birch each 3ft x 3ft and should house 4 12" speakers. There will be 2 cabinets on the stack.
But what speakers and head equipment should I use to get an acdc overdriven sound.

I built my own years ago, but if my life depenended upon it right now I would be dead.....lol

I am working on the same thing and it sounds like you are doing better. At least in the way of wood. :thumbsup:
