Hello Guys. Haven't stopped by in a while. How R U ?
What is the most popular holiday gifts for model train lovers and kids.
I'm trying to find something for the grand children.
Thomas The Tank Engine (http://lioneltrainauctions.com/Model-Train-Store/thomas-the%20tank-engine-lionel) or Polar Express (http://lioneltrainauctions.com/Model-Train-Store/lionel-polar-express-train) sets both seem like it would be OK for a 3 year old.
What do ya think about them ?

I am good, how are you?
Personally for a three year old I would get him a Thomas the Tank Engine set... I know that I loved that TV show when I was around that age... Is it even on anymore? Maybe get him the Polar Express set in a couple of years... Now you have my two cents :)

Yeah Thomas is still on .. I read up on the show on Wikipedia the other day.
To my horror, they are moving to a complete CGI (computer generated) setup... big time FAIL
Oh well.
But back on topic, yeah Thomas is a winner no matter how you slice it. If they are young, start them with the Thomas wooden (Brio-type) trains as anything else will likely get trashed in a short time.

LOL nice, there is another good boat one I am trying to find.. basically it's a yacht that is going nose first into the water at a 90 degree angle and the captain or some other guy is at the end holding on for dear life.
