What do you see on your daily commute?

I live 2 miles from the shop that I work in. This is what I see on my way to work.

I cross under Charlotte's Light rail and over the sight of Southern's former main line throuth charlotte. NS no longer has rails through the hart os charlotte. Some of the land is now used for the light rail.

Then I pass an old heavy wight passanger car on the other side of the raod from the tracks. If any one know what kind of pass. car this is please tel me.

Just a little ferther south back across the light railtracks is the Cargril refinery with lots of tank cars. I always to look to see what has changed.

That must be a fun commute

I do not have any pictures, but one of the roads I take to get to college basically runs parallel to an old B&M line... It is still used today for freight service, but I have never actually seen a train use the tracks... The rails are nice and shiny though, so a train must go through there every once and a while... There are also two steel trestles which this line runs over that I get to see, and the abutments for a third which has long since been washed away...

I see my kids on my commute to work. I do the slipper commute . . . across the hall. It's a tough drive, but someone has to do it!

Same here! From bed to work it's about 16 seconds on a slow day :D

Great pics

It's always interesting to see what other people post. Unless it's spam.
