terminal wire

i am new to track and electrics and the transformer
, i dont know what kind of wire i need to connect my power pack to the terminal. I have some trains that were my Grampas (and he passed away) and I want to run them on the track I just bought off ebay. It came with a tyco power pack but no wiring or instructions. Can you help me?

Get some wire at your local hobby shop and some between the rails conectors. They should set you right.

One wire to each rail from the DC terminals on the transformer.
