Bachmann Climax 28ton Pocohantas WONT GO

Hi,
Please helps. Ive spent DAYS, literally DAYS on this.
Bought a new Bachman as above steam loco. EZ track system DC power pack, all quite simple.ALL Joints look and feel OK. I put an ammeter across the track. Im getting a good variable voltage 0-18v dc.
Put the train on track. For the first few days it moved a bit, stop/start/.... I mean just a bit.
Now it does not move. Its on the tracks and the light works, wind up the voltage, the speed of the con rod moves faster etc. The train wont go. If I pick up the train a little off the track, the wheels rotate.
Just cant work this out.
Please help!

Hi all,
I'm sure my Q was not that challenging. I eventually realized that the Train I purchased was a BAD one, unfortunately. I happened to purchase another Loco and it ran great on the track.
One of the unfortunate eBay buys that did not work out. I certainly let the seller have my views. It's a great looking Bachmann, new, just does not move on track.
