Hey, Bob, it's me. Promised I'd get in touch with you.
Vroom vroom! Fast little guy. And quiet and steady. No jerking.

I now have a great piece of equipment. And I have you to thank.

Actually, I will have to be sending the RS11 first. It is not working right now. Cleaned it, lubed it, and it still runs for a second and stops. You give it a little push and it goes for a second and stops, etc. So I think maybe I should get that one taken care of first. The GP38-2 is still running, for now. Also, I am not sure how familiar you are with vintage Lionel and Revell stuff, but I just picked up a very old (50's-60's) HO set. It looks like it was well cared for once upon a time, but that time appears to have passed. I think I want to try and restore it. Good idea, or a money pit waiting to happen?

Oh no problem, I understand. I broke my middle toe Easter Sunday, so been dealing with that and trying to work, just been coming home and relaxing for a couple of weeks now. But, that sounds excellent. I did miss some days due to Spring Break and then the broken toe, so as soon as I can get up the money, I will send the GP38-2 first. Thank you very much. She's been grounded for a week now and I miss her already. Luckily the RS11 is pulling The Milwaukee Road passenger train, so all those lovely passengers can still ride.....

Sorry for my delay. I have a Kato GP38-2 The Milwaukee Road (second run) I bought used. I believe it just needs cleaned and lubed and tested real good. It still runs good, but sounds a bit dry inside. Then, one by one, I also have a Trix F7 and a Kato RS11 that I would like to get all checked out as well. The Bachmann GP40 is only 4 months old so I think it can wait till last. Just not comfortable enough yet to start taking locomotives apart. Is that all doable?

Hello shay. I apologize for the unsolicited message. I was given your name by another member. It looks as if everyone needs your help. I am very new to model railroading, going into my 4th month. I was wondering about getting some locomotives serviced; cleaned real good, lubed, parts checked and/or tested. Usual, probably long overdue maintenance. Is that something you would be interested in doing?

Thank you Shay.I better include the tender in my attempt at repairs....power from track is picked up from tender eh and not the loco. How many variations were there of the CB as far as the motor and motor mounts.
    Thanks again

No.........I checked my posts, New Posts, For Sale (in case it was moved there), every section I visited.
I'm stumped. Where did I put it?
(Maybe the question should be, WHY did I put it there.)
I guess this is a case of my mods getting back at me for playing tricks on them!

Edit: and yes! I hated admitting defeat.

Hi! Kinda odd for me, talking with a mod, since I'm Admin on another site.
Did I get a post removed? I made a long, LONG post in the "I wish I would have......" thread, but it's gone.
Now thinking about it, maybe I didn't hit the right button. (Done that before)
If I didn't make the post, sorry for this waste of PM space.
If I did, and it was removed, I would like to know why, so I don't go wrong on any future posts.
