    Knuckle couplers are usually about 2 bucks apiece, reproductions.

    yea, I will figure her out, just got done with my ZW transformer, putting a new power cord in. Ever need any Lionel parts let me know, I know a distributor he has everything.
    Also have a collector and repairman of American Flyers. The Lionel guy also repairs Lionel.

    I recently bought a 21160 steamer, she starts and stops, I noticed that the armature had a bigger gap in it ( more copper showing), than the 282's, do you know if that is the correct armature for that engine?
