Thanks love the Flying Scotsman have a OO Gauge one. I once met an old man who was an engine driver of it along long time ago now.

Yes, its appeal is universal. A truly iconic train. I was reading a poll recently carried out across many countries and the Flying Scotsman cane out as the best known train.

Classic rolls again!

The Flying Scotsman is back and some of the video is fantastic. There is one especially entertaining as a gentlemen is filming and just as the Scotsman makes an appearance a passing commuter train roars by on the other track and all you see is the end of the Scotsman's coaches going the other way, just awful...

Yes, I saw that too. The guy had picked what he thought was the perfect spot and a commuter train comes along and spoils his shot.
