There are several LGB mogul versions.
Original mogul had a 3 wire motor block, and 3 pin plug to tender.
Next was the 6 pin connector with some tenders with analog sound.
Then came the 4 wire motor block followed by digital sound.
Next was MTS with a SUSI bus for digital sound.
And the original boiler has a removable smoke stack and no compressor.
Next version had a molded stack on the boiler plus many more pipes under under the 'running' boards.
SO, all are not the same at all and the 4 digit numbers were changed to 5 digit.
Note that the original 6 wires were 3 for sound sensor on engine rear axle, 2 for track power and 1 for rear light.
Digital sound had 2 track wires, 2 light wires, and 2 for the speaker as sound unit is now in the engine, not in the tender.
