With my new found time, I want to explore model railroading, specifically N scale. Remembering my time as a youth, I'm leaning towards CP script for a focus and time period. (I still remember a cross Canada trip to Vancouver and return we took in 1963 on the CP Canadian.)

I'll be doing a lot of lurking, and researching old forum posts, but already have some basic questions I'll post in the next week or so.

I look forward to participating.

Welcome to ALL new members this past week.

To David52...
I just filed for SS as I will be 62 in August and after 45 years of working full time will be going to part time (10-15 hours per week) in Sept/Oct and I am very much looking forward to it.
Enjoy YOUR time and have fun with your trains, that is what it is all about.

Hello, everyone!

I'm 19 and looking to develop my skills early (even though I've been with the hobby my whole life).

Once I have the space, I plan on modelling the DM&IR during the transition era. For now, I'll mostly be asking questions about all the old junk I get from my uncle and cousin.
