Owners or fans of the second oldest scale, Standard Gauge has three rail tracks and the only gauge larger than it is 2 7/8 gauge. Standard Gauge was the first three rail scale and was designed so it wouldn't short out when making a loop with a switch track. Standard gauge was actually not standard and mostly Lionel produced it. Usually Standard Gauge trains run on 25 volts. Standard Gauge also hosts many commonly known trains such as the 400E, the No. 33, No. 37, No. 42, and the Brass Steamer.
