rdeal - I tried to message you and it was not allowed?

The "Girder" is 1 3/4" high X 1/8" thick slats from Home Depot. I bought them in 8' lengths. You can find them in the trim section in lumber. The vertical spacing pieces are from a craft store 3/16"X3/16", cut to length, then glued on. the upper platform is 1/2" plywood cut to O42" curves. I used track screws #4 X 1/2" black philips head from Gargraves and screwed the slat into the plywood. Every piece was painted Flat Black.

Attaching was a little brutal. Measure as close as you can, the distance needed. Cut and screw one end into the plywood. Press down on the slat and add another screw 6-8" distant. Repeat, Repeat until you make the curve. If I ran into a buckle problem I used a #4 3/4" screw. Don't try to do the entire curve in one piece. Use sections and you will get less stress on each piece. I worked with 2' - 3' sections at a time.

Glad to help and post pictures of your project when you can.
