I only have space for a shelf layout 17' x 1.5'. I'm using Unitrack with power routing switches so it runs with a DC power pack and no need for wiring the switches.

I had 3 loops outdoors, 2 of them fairly large...

I had 3 loops outdoors, 2 of them fairly large which I ran 3 trains on with one MRC controller. I don't remember the specific model MRC unit.
