As far as marking the PCB locations, a simple 'P' on the end should suffice ?? I wonder if there is enough room on mine to do one side ?? it's a copy of a prusa i3, think the print area is 200mm on...

you can tighten up some of the clearances ... -sometimes- it reduces gear noise, somtimes not ... doesn't seem to be any consistency to it ..

the first motor -may- have weakened magnets, no way to tell for sure.. you may have replace the magnets, or the whole motor, but it's easier to try it first to see how it runs ..

if you are using DCC++ then you must program on the program track pair, and run on the main pair ...

don't know of any way to get around this, i -mostly- use the program pair to enter new data...

incompatible motor driver, sense signal on different port, using the main rather than programming track, could be just about anything...

the points are powered [normally] off of physical contact with the main rails ....
all i did was add a flexible wire to the start of the point rails so they no longer had to rely on physical...
