According to a fellow I spoke with via email that is in charge of maintenance for Wunderland he says these do an outstanding job and very little hand cleaning is required.

Viessmann even makes a hand cleaner specifically for cleaning track under catenary.

I might have to look into that because the Lux system is not in my near future.
