AC-DC, Transformers, Selectors, Controllers, Reverse Loops,..Electrifying

Plus A&B Cabs and multiple tracks.

I have wired two other layouts with no issues one 40 years ago the other twenty. Looked at a diagram and wired them up. No problems.

Then came yesterday. Forgot everything that I knew. Not a rookie, I have a background in electronics. Everything just tacked together, wanted to be sure everything worked before I hard wired. Nothing worked. Long day and I was tired.

Awoke at 2am, thought about it, changed one wire this morning and everything works. The power of sleep.

Yeah, it happens. I've actually bolted out of a sleep and remembered something I needed to do or check.

Got the reverse loop in and the third line done. All switches installed for the figure 8. Ran a test locomotive around all lines with no problems.

I will have a dozen blocks and maybe more by the time I finish, depends on how may spurs I run into the railyard.

Now for that figure 8.
