6-83716 manual needed

Lionel does not list one. Any other places to look?

Is this what you have? http://www.lionel.com/products/bnsf-...tooth-6-83716/

If that's it then you probably want to find the model of the loco, I'm guessing that's what you really need, yes?

Contact Lionel directly and see if they have what you are looking for.

Might be the best option because ...

The 6-83716 number is the Loco.'s product number. And there isn't an instruction manual for the loco itself. On the Lionel support site, you need the set's product number to find it's manual.

Try this Link. It list the owner's manuals for similar sets. In fact most of the manuals don't mention road name, etc. as the operation is the same set-to-set (though a few are different for specialty sets, e.g. Area 51 RS-3 set).

There's a few more resources like instruction videos, beginners setup, etc.

6-83716 is the SKU number for the set in question:
http://www.lionel.com/products/bnsf-...tooth-6-83716/

Here is a manual for a similar set. Everything in it should apply to your set.

Hope this helps.

This is from a Lionchief set. Try looking for the manual from the set.

I believe the Lionel product page listing 6-83716 as the SKU is an error.

It's not always an exact science. An engine may not have the same road name but they are often identical underneath.
