MARX PLASTIC TILT COUPLER / LIONEL ADAPTER / THIS WORKS

this will work with tab & slot as well, similar to the original marx to Lionel adapter...

WORKS WELL WITH TAB & SLOT

USA GREAT IDEA HERE

As stated by SantaFeJim clever & simple. If one wanted to have the adapter blend in with the black plastic/metal of the Lionel coupler just use a permanent ink black Magic Marker on the brass head of the paper joiner. Maybe on the bent tab underneath. Purely aesthetic but would look great.

Great little gadget.

I have a couple questions.

1-Did you win the Commodore Vanderbilt for $10.00 on eBay ?
The shell looked well worn, but the pickup on the motor look almost new.

2-Have you ever lost a train off the outside rail. ( Now Be Honest )

no recent commodore vanderbilt

as to the outside rail, had a 666 come uncoupled and derailed on the outside curve by the window, another few inches and it would have gone straight through. i am always quite vigilant running anything on the outside rail.
