Atlas RS3... very nice

Excellent detail
1951, Cotton Belt... Halloween paint scheme (for freight units).

D.C., $79, runs quiet.
It'll be upgraded to DCC.

They've already been swapped out with 148's.
I tried #5's because I have so many of them, but Atlas draft boxes are sometimes too narrow for that whole mechanism. The whiskers fit better.
The RS11's though, took #5's without a problem.

I supported my local LHS for a change two Christmases ago and purchased a Master series RS-3 with DCC/sound from them. It's in CP livery from the 60's. It's a very nicely done model, just like the Fairbanks-Morse H24-66 Trainmaster that I got about 12 years ago. I hope yours gives you a lot of pleasure.
