SP&S tinplate passenger cars

Picked up these guys at a train show for $10 each. They were really in bad shape, a lot of rust, so some refurbishing and now they are running as the Spokane Portland & Seattle.

Thanks guys. I was at a train show a couple years ago and in the junk box underneath the sellers table was 7 of the 2600 series passenger cars, rusted and beat up. The seller wanted $100 for the 7, I offered $10 each and he took the offer. Since then 3 of the cars have been refurbished to the SP&S and the other 4 to the Northern Pacific.

Well your into scale stuff so I get your point. I'm into prewar tinplate so they look long to me (restoring 4 wheel cars at the moment).

Actually, I was interested in their height compared to conventional loco's. I think they're too large for post war Lionel die cast steamers. But I have little to go on ...
