My first On30

A friend of a friend is down sizing and I got a Bachmann On30 Spectrum for free. All I had to pay was shipping. I run O gauge so this is a little out of my comfort zone.

I got three transformers and quite a bit track. I got a 4x4 particle board and made small layout. It's a challenge to put the cars on the track and they derail quickly. I going to expand in time. The last two photos are my O gauge layout.

There's two more boxes of track

Wow, why can’t I find a deal like that?

I have that Bumble Bee loco but it came in a set with freight cars.

Those passenger cars look great.

One side benefit of On30 is being able to run HO on the same track.

Looks cool! Nice train. You have a nice layout. Looks like it is a lot of fun.

Thanks Lee. I plan on putting another 4x5 addition on my O gauge layout as soon as I figure out where I'm going to move things around.

How is the recovery going?

The On30 stuff is pretty cool, Denny. It will be a nice addition to your layout.

You certainly can’t beat the price.
