Hey Richard! I have the Shawmut 2-10-0 too. The real engine the PS&N had did have the longer back porch on the tender, so the MTH model is correct in that respect. The Erie engines seemed to have short end sills, from what I have seen in photographs.

Where did you get the Shawmut caboose? That definitely caught my eye...

The Shawmut caboose started life as a MTH B&O. I custom printed the decals with an Alps MD1000 printer.
It would have been difficult to regauge the locomotive drivers because of the rods and valve gear so Baldwin put on thicker treads to make up the difference. That made them rough going through self guarding frogs. The Shawmut men called their decapod That dammed Bolshevik. The Shawmut Decapod was ex an Erie RR
