The longer coaches are Hornby. The shorter, weather beaten coaches I think are Air Fix kits. They came without couplers, and spares are very, very hard to find, if at all in the US. Following general prototype practice, I used a dime store chain link to connect those coaches. This proved easier said than done, too close and the buffers bound up, too long and the lateral tension pulled said coaches off the rails.
