I have to agree that they are sharp looking trains.

That is a very nice Christmas train! Perhaps nostalgia plays a part, but to me anything with red and/or green in it makes a nice Christmas train. Anything shiny, actually.

All of mine are Weihnachten trains that bring back memories of Deutschland at this time of year. Christkindlmarkts, Glüwein, St. Nicholas, etc.

Can't go wrong with AT&SF Warbonnets in any color. Great looking F Units Lee.

Looking good Lee! EMD F units in the warbonnet paint scheme are probably my all time favorite railroad locomotive. My dad says he used to take me to the depot in San Diego to see Santa Fe's San Diegan train (LA to San Diego) with warbonnet F units around 1970 when I was very young. Unfortunately I don't remember them. Later as a teenager I would have the opportunity to participate in a night photo shoot, put together by a well known railroad photographer, of the only remaining Santa Fe F7's. The two units ( California State Railroad Museum's A and B units) were freshly painted and looked incredible.

I just got a ABBA set of the MTH Premier F7's with the plated sides. They're gorgeous with great detail. But you've got me beat with 16 Santa Fe F units.

I've got 2 ABBA sets of Warbonnet F3s and an ABA set of Warbonnet PAs. But I model the Santa Fe, so I have an appropriate amount.

Agree with you Lee. When I grew up there was no Polar Express.
