I can't imagine having 30 Big Boys, you need to have them all on a wall shelf so you can see them, that's a sight to see!

As a collector I can understand the desire to own all the road names that AHM/Rivarossi offered on the Big Boys.

I'm shooting for maybe a rung down on the ladder and looking at the 2-8-8-2 Mallets. So far I have the B&O, N&W, and Santa Fe, missing the Pennsylvania and wondering if there are others.

Is there a source for finding that out?

Thanks - Bob

Ah got it. Your comment #3 above.

I didn't think that AHM/Rivarossi put out 30 BB road names. Makes my search for AHM Mallets so much easier to say nothing about being cheaper.

Do you have a preference one over the other? I did not know that Athearn made the Big Boy. Wonder if they made the 2-8-8-2 Mallets.
