Track Compatibility follow up

As a follow up to my 8-29 post. I'm starting a small z scale layout and wondered about combining track from different brands. So I bought some Marklin and Atlas track. My results.
The Marklin and Atlas track do work together quite well with some tweaking.
The Atlas and Pico code 55 rail joiners work better than the Marklin rail joiners. I had to cut the plastic sectional clips from the Marklin track and the small plastic tabs holding the rail to the ties in the first two ties being joined. I also soldered each joint. It is a smooth transition and works well.
I liked the Atlas turnouts and the Atlas flex track is longer and more flexible.
