USA I COLLECT WHAT I LIKE INCLUDING MENARDS

My local Menards had these in stock Sunday. They looked real sharp. IMHO. Check them out for your self if you live close to a Menards

They look good, but I've never seen an Illinois Central Gulf open bay hopper painted in orange.

They were all black with white or orange ICG logo.

Unlike the box cars, covered hoppers, and gondolas, the open bay coal hoppers were left black after the merger.

Though I've never seen one in 40 years doesn't mean there isn't one or two floating around in the system.
