What is going on with the ad posts?

I'm a member and logged in and I am seeing an ad post for Mazda and a Savvy Shopper quiz.WTF?

As for the Savvy Shopper quiz, is that similar to the Mazda ad? Can you grab us a screenshot?

They just appear as posts. There was a new, when I clicked it it went off the forum to the below link.

Since it's appearing in the Sticky threads, it's clearly coming in through the back door, so it's something that is slipping through the advertising interface.

As previously noted, unobtrusive adds are the fuel that makes the internet run. If everyone blocks them, sites like this will have to figure out a new revenue model, which will probably involve membership fees. I'll take the ads...so long as they know their place.
