I found the following web site, www.cgtextures.com, that has a lot of photo images one can download and use as background images. If you need some building pictures to put on a flat to fill in your urban scenes, this would be the web site to visit!
After mulling over various approaches to my background and mining several forums for ideas and tips, I think I've found my answer.
So far it's been easy to find materials, quick to do the steps and so far I think it looks convincing.
