i have 2 lionel trains ive had like my whole life and have no use for them was wondering if any1 could tell me if they r worth putting on ebay or not and how much they r worth if any1 knows let me know(they arent really scratched up the spots on them r all dust i dont know how old they r but they have been wrapped in newspapers up in the closet forever

Price guide has the first at 25 1986. 20 for the second 1982 and sold into 91. Very common. Not classified as postwar.

ok and where should i sell these ebay? cuz i searched for the numbers on ebay and i seen the NPK one but the other i couldnt find didnt know if there was a website that might be better?

For their value I can't see signing up for e bay as a seller just to sell that.
Craigslists is an option. The paint strips look great just check out my 250. Your best bet is locally. 3 by 5 at the grocer etc. Ebayers sellers have there adds everywhere disguised as collectors. For the time period you need to advert AC or DC motor WHat runs it. Electronic boards are now used on AC to run DC motors.
