Just finished my train garden and was hoping to get some feedback. I managed to pack it all onto a 4'x8' as I have done every year. Next year I plan to expand i hope. lol. Tell me what you think.

I really like it. I enjoy the snow men going around the inner circle.
Question: I am also using a 4x8 sheet and fast track. To make your inner and outer oval what size curves did you use. I already have 36” curves. I also have the polar express train. Thanks.

Thanks. Are you using fast track. Baldhead for your outer loop you used 36” curves for your inside loop you used 31” curves.
Bald head since we are both using 4x8 sheet of plywood I also heard an outer loop of 48”curves would work and an inner of 36” curves would work.
I have no clue if 3 loops would work on 4x8 sheet. Thanks.

Bald head so the biggest curves you can use on a 4x8 sheet of plywood for an outer loop would be 36” curves. Then the inner loop would have to be 31” curves.
I don’t know if you could get a 3rd loop on or not.
Thanks for the help.

I want to give a big shout out to my close friend Emile (TheBigCrabCake) for getting me on this forum and started back into trains. He always does an awesome layout. He would be proud I got a couple friends back into the hobby this year and they are having a blast.

Bald headed. First, thanks for the help. I really like your layout. My favorite is the snowman handcar. I like to have one. I also like your train with Santa on it. I am very interested in seeing your layout when it is expanded.
Bald headed. To do 2 loops on my 4x8 like your 36” curves and 31” is what would work
The Williams track that the handcar runs on, I am not familiar with it. I will have to look it up. Thanks again

Tom. When to your post and attempted to view you video but there must be an issue with the link. I get a Null!
Appologies! I do this infrequently and never remember the steps to publish it.

Hope this works.

By the way, in the video above the town architect decided to build a temporary stage for singers in the road crossing at the turnouts. I voted against it, but was overruled in committee.
