2026 Smoke Unit - no smoke

2026 smoke unit doesn't heat up and smoke. I took it apart and the wire is connected. Any ideas or suggestions on what to look for and how to test or what my be wrong or need to be replaced.

You can measure the resistance. If it is zero replace the resistor. Do you use pellets or liquid?
