Several manufactures are making consolidations very similar to the Roundhouse/model die casting engines kits from the 1970s. But does anyone know of a 4-6-0 similar to the kits of the 1970's, in production at the present time. .....not kits, but just the completed model. The Bachmann 4-6-0s are a bit small and from an earlier era than i would like. Thanks.

I can't answer your specific question, but wanted to point out that there are two different Bachmann models from different eras (each offered in various paint jobs). The low boiler version has a small tender for 1800's layouts, while the high boiler version has a much larger tender and is more suited towards the 1920's. Your comment seems to indicate you only found the older style model so you might want to check again for the high boiler version.
