What is the best way to go about getting the shell of a 6462 gondola back on its frame?

Also, I have noticed that the Scout style trucks do not use the traditional horseshoe clip to hold them on... What do you guys use to remount this type of truck?

If I remember the tabs get bent slightly. Slide the frame in tight on one side. The opposite tab should squeese in, then flatten both.
I thought the trucks used c clamps?

IDK, some appear to use these metal O rings to hold them on... I am just trying to anticipate what I will have to deal with when my parts get here

I have an old one that has four screws to hold the gondola to the frame. One problem with these is that they are very heavy.

Trucks are usually c clamps or rivets. I use a srew,and a nut. Try not to melt the plastic when removing the rivet.

OH the tabs have to be bowed to be shortened. Pry the center Up while holding down the end.
