i'm about to make a huge for sale thread, i need to know if there is a limit on pictures? none of my pictures i upload on forums* ever make you have to scroll from side to side to read the text, but there still big and i don't wanna have to go through 40+ pictures to resize if i don't have too

is there a limit of pictures?

no there is no limit to pictures. it is common however to not upload pictures large enough to break the layout of the site. on some boards this is very frowned upon.

in any case it is a good idea to prepare pictures for web , resize to 800*600 tops (640x480 is also quite large). google Picasa (free) will do this for you in a batch, and will compress JPG so there will not be no need for "56K" warning

i'm attempting to resize them with picasa now, but i don't see resize under batch?

just select multiple of them and choose "export". i would not go bigger then 800

thank you sir, everything has been resized to 640 and 56k removed.

For future reference most websites body sections are 500px and under wide.
