Hi. I have an American Flyer set with a 312AC loco, six cars, a transformer, track, some switches & misc. stuff. The transformer turns on but the wipers need to be cleaned as there is only intermittent power. I haven't used the train in a couple of decades. If someone is seriously interested in putting it back in service it's free to a good home, all I ask is you pay shipping. I have a small business FedEx account so hopefully I can keep the cost of shipping reasonable. Please let me know if you're interested.

I would be very interested in your set. I have many AF items and pretty good knowledge
on cleaning and repair of your items. I can give it a good home. If shipping is not insane.
My zip code is 63021 in the St Louis area. Welcome to the forum. Let me know if I am the
lucky new owner. Thanks. I do not resell my trains so this is not make a buck.

There are some nice items pictured. The 312AC is likely a 1950 or 1951. The 9B transformer is probably a 1946, since the lights do not have the faceted covers it is likely not a pre war version. A lot of Gilbert track plus the four 36" pieces of K Line track. Hopefully he has the two control boxes for the turnouts. I wonder where the people and station are that go with the 735.

Very nice set, love the passenger cars! Mo Pac is lucky to find this thread first. You have to admit, it will be a leap of faith to actually send money to pay for shipping. Pay after shipping is recieved would be the ultimate as you just have to be wary of such a offer, almost too good to be true, don't you think?
If shipping doesn't work out for you I might be able to find some more puppy sitting jobs to pay for shipping. What a generious gesture, if it's all on the up and up.... ManyCoolToys! I must say Welcome to the forum too...what a amazing first post!!!! 🤗

Had a very large heavy box delivered to my front porch today. All stuff in very good
condition. And very well packed. Took an hour to unwrap everything. All the stuff in
the pictures were there except the long K-Line track pieces. Maybe they did not fit.
The box was full. I got stuff not shown in the pics. Maybe the neatest surprise was
a like new hard bound K-Line American Flyer repair book. I swear I almost bought
one a couple of months ago. Got a cool metal truss bridge. The controllers for the
4 power switches were there. A diesel billboard horn. 2 really cool metal street lights
(these got to be prewar). And 2 really nice aluminum passenger cars (a 960 and a 962).
Plus the 3 passenger cars in the pics. 3 or 4 uncouplers, 1 manual. 4 or 5 button
control boxes. And of coarse the nice 312AC. I may have forgot somethings. It was
like Christmas going through the box. I want to thank ManyCoolToys for his generous
offer. I promised him pics and a video once I get it all lubed and running. I will try to
get pics of all the stuff. Got home late and it was dark by the time I got it unpacked.

Very seldom Tom. Very seldom. Gaming Commission has let the casinos around here tighten
machines up again. Before covid it was 95% payback. It is now 81% pay back. It is noticeable
They take alot of money in either way..
