The Amtrak Cascade runs from British Columbia, through the Sate of Washington, into Southern Oregon. Here it is passing through on S&Y RR track with the FP-59 and superliners.

Nice consist. I never saw that Amtrak paint scheme before. It is a nice change from the day to day schemes they run here in on the NEC.

Who made the equipment you are running?

Tom, the loco and passenger cars are Premier MTH. The paint colors represent the following since it runs along side of the Cascade Range.

White = snow
Brown = mountains
Green = evergreen forests

Cool. Those F59s always look “stubby” to me. I have never seen one in person. It sort of looks like a F40 with the sloped nose. I like the roof details too...

Like this; it is really different from the little that we see in Virginia. To see Amtrak here, you better get to the tracks early. It doesn’t stop.

That's a really nice set, Bill, with a unique livery.
