Kadee issue #6721
(couldn't help myself).

I am (was) a big fan of the New Haven, because I grew up in Connecticut.


I don't usually get this severe with weathering, but most of these McGinnis cars eventually got to look like this... or worse.
Some even became rotted through while still in service.

Vallejo acrylics. Sealed with DullCote.

Kadee sprung trucks are superb rollers, but finicky. As is the case here, I tend to shy away from weathering them.
But if they give me a problem by coming apart, (as some do) I'll replace them with metal-wheeled TruckTuned Accurails, and go for it.
