Unfortunately, the industry trend right now is away from stocked inventory. Manufacturers are producing only what they're pretty sure they can sell, and retailers and wholesalers likewise. Gone are the days when you're likely to find 6 dozen locomotives on the shelf in the local hobby shop.

Impossible only costs a little bit more.

I recently found a FALLER laser cut kit that was released in 2012 for Swiss distribution only. Should be here in a week or so. Coming from the Netherlands. €€€$$$.
