Hi everyone,

Does anyone know of any makers of HO passenger cars that made them in black?

I am having a very hard time finding black passenger cars...

If you can still find them Athearn "Blue Box" undecorated kits were black. They made streamlined and heavy weights. Try E Bay and train shows.

But they all seem to be kits that I have to put together...

LOL, ok, well I have NO idea of how to do it...

The instructions that come with the Blue Box kits will guide you through it. You should have no issue. Some do not even need glue. We glue is required just remember to use model glue that is compatible and that a very little goes a long way. I have actually found that painting takes longer and more patients than the building of the cars.

use testors cement for plastic models i found this is the best type. (actually i think it's the only type. Hmmm I wonder?)

Shouldn't mattter what color they are.....Just grab a rattle can of Krylon and have at it.

LOL, that was my original plan...

But I forgot about the lettering...

No idea how I would find lettering after it has been painted over...
